would include lawyer fees and land transfer fees of approximately $2,500.
Your maintenance fee costs approximately $250/month for everything except
Property Taxes (approximately $1,400 annually).
'G' floor plan (2-bedroom + loft): $10,000/year ($260,900);
'B' floor plan (3-bedroom deluxe): $11,000/year ($319,900) - hot tub
'D' floor plan (5-bedroom executive): $16,000/year ($549,000);
With this guaranteed return, your costs are minimal. For example, a
two-bedroom chalet sells for $239,900. Based on a 65% mortgage, if you ONLY
earn the minimum guaranteed $8,000 of rental income, you would have to pay
$125/month to cover your mortgage. Taken over one year, the $1,400 to cover
the mortgage is less than what you would pay to stay here for one week!
There are many reasons why Fernie is growing as a resort, and why owners

• Tour operators utilizing RML have increased by 50% for 2005. Occupancy
levels are increasing.
• Summer amenities are more plentiful than winter amenities. Fly fishing,
